Justin Diggle and Genevieve Cantin will speak on the topic “Indigenous Reconciliation from a Legal Perspective” at the Ontario Municipal Human Resources Association’s (OMHRA) Inclusive Society and the New Employer webinar series on Monday December 5, 2022.

As more and more municipalities address reconciliation within their operations, municipal Human Resources Professionals will need to consider and plan how to address these important issues in their workplaces. This webinar will explore some of the legal issues surrounding reconciliation from a municipal human resources perspective.

Topics will include an overview of how the reconciliation process has unfolded, what impacts Calls to Action have on the municipal employer, human rights considerations and improving indigenous participation in the municipal workforce.
