Aperçu
Emily Cook-Bielech maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice. Emily is particularly interested in professional regulatory matters, contract law and civil procedure. Emily has experience drafting pleadings, legal opinions, court applications and written submissions for a variety of forums.
Emily obtained her Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Alberta in June 2021. During her time at the Faculty of Law, Emily participated in the competitive mooting program, Student Legal Service’s Criminal Project and served as an executive of the Law Students for Human Rights Club and the Law Show.
Emily is actively involved in the Edmonton legal community, serving as a volunteer with the Provincial Court Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program and the Court of Queen’s Bench Amicus Program.
Outside of the office, Emily enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking and playing the piano.
