Stephanie is a senior associate in the Business Law Group, Restructuring. She provides strategic legal and risk management advice to businesses with respect to all aspects of their financial and operational turnaround. She devises creative solutions to complex issues in order to successfully guide businesses through restructuring and reorganization processes and value maximizing transactions. Stephanie has a great deal of experience acting as the point-person for various business stakeholders, including government and regulatory authorities and large groups of investors involved commercial transactions, among many others. She has had the pleasure of working with businesses in a diverse range of industries, including technology and software, retail, hotel and hospitality, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, mining, real estate and condominium development, media and broadcasting, not-for-profit and many more.
In addition to acting for businesses, Stephanie acts for secured creditors, purchasers, financiers, as well as various court-appointed officers in restructuring proceedings. Stephanie also uses her broad legal skillset to help grow businesses through restructuring transactions and related asset acquisitions. Stephanie takes a practical and solution-oriented approach to legal advice, and her advice is strongly guided by what makes good business sense.
